penetrating and coming into contact with the skin12,16 helping protect against Moisture Associated Skin Damage (MASD).12-15

Allowing instant access to the wound for inspecting or irrigating without having to remove the entire Pouch.2
Access Windows™ could prolong the lifetime of the pouch and save valuable time in dressing changes and increasing patient comfort.
The bung allows connection to continuous drainage and the fold-up outlet could be helpful for thick exudate, small volumes or for locations on the body where a bung may cause irritation.

Where eakin Wound PouchesTM can be used on the body
It is well known that eakin Wound PouchesTM are ideal for abdominal wounds and fistulas of all sizes.
However, there are many other wound sites around the body for which an eakin Wound PouchTM may be a suitable dressing. The uses are not restricted to the examples shown.
