When patients change their pouches frequently they can sometimes have residue

Cohesive Slims® are designed for people who change their pouches more frequently. Patients will experience less residue than with Cohesive® Seals.

Cohesive Slims® can be worn with convex pouches to lessen the convexity and protect the skin against any damage...Switching to a ‘soft convex’ pouch can help to eliminate the problems associated with traditional rigid convex pouches.

The Cohesive Seal appears to melt.

When Eakin Cohesive Seals are in use, they absorb moisture from the skin and the stoma forming a smooth gel. This is designed to happen so that the patient’s skin underneath is protected.

The Cohesive® Seals are not sticking.

Occasionally, users complain that Eakin Cohesive Seals are not sticking well, however in all of the cases quoted to date and due to the high level of product inspection prior to leaving our factory, there has been no fault in the products.

Some of the seals look a different colour to others.

As Eakin Cohesive® Seals contain some natural ingredients, there can be colour variations from one batch to another. It is also a characteristic of Eakin Cohesive® that it will become slightly darker in colour and less granular in appearance over time.
