The paste is not adhering to the patient’s skin

It is very uncommon that you will experience problems with Cohesive Paste® not sticking well to the skin. However, if this is the case then you may find the following will help:

1. The skin must be dry - although Eakin Cohesive Paste® absorbs moisture, when applying the paste initially, the skin should be as dry as possible.

2. The skin must be clean and free from any other skin preparations - other skin barriers, creams or stoma pastes, may affect the adhesion of Eakin Cohesive Paste®.
